The sealing requirement of the vulcanizing machine is to have good sealing performance and prevent gas leakage. The sealing parts of the vulcanizing machine have low friction resistance, small wear and tear, long service life, simple use and maintenance, easy disassembly and replacement, low cost and easy manufacturing.

Vulcanizing machine commonly used sealing materials are:
(1) Polyurethane rubber: It is a new type of rubber material widely used in various hydraulic cylinders and has been widely used.
(2) Oil-resistant rubber and cloth rubber: Nitrile rubber is the most used and has good elasticity. Vulcanizers often use cloth rubber in hydraulic presses.
(3) Polyvinyl chloride (plastic): has a certain strength, oil resistance, low friction, but poor elasticity.
